Greg began a career in Health Care after being Honorably Discharged from the United States Marine Corps in 1977. The curriculum was Radiological Technology. As an X-ray Technologist, Greg was exposed to all aspects of Medicine while working in Hospitals and Clinics throughout San Diego County.
In 1984 Greg took advantage of an opportunity to study the Oriental Healing Art of Acupuncture. As an accomplished Martial Artist, Greg was already familiar with a number of related principles. He therefore decided to embark on this facet of Health Care.
In 1988 Greg earned a license to practice acupuncture in the State of California, as a Primary Health Care Provider, and a Physician Under Workers' Compensation Law. Since 1988 Greg has specialized in Workers Compensation and treating chronic pain and soft tissue complications. He is a Participating Provider in all of the major MPN's.

Following his undergraduate studies where he formed a solid foundation in Western sciences with a double major in Kinesiology and Nutrition, Joseph followed in his father's footsteps to pursue an education in Traditional Oriental Medicine.
Treatment Philosophy:
Due to Joseph's background in western sciences, he provides an educated approach to the treatment of orthopedic conditions by understanding the kinetic relationship of movement patterns, anatomy and physiology, and new prevailing studies on pain management via nervous and tendinomuscular manipulation. Active Release Techniques (ART) and myofascial release are also large components of his orthopedic treatments to help ensure functional outcomes.
Outside of the Workers’ Compensation system, Joseph also manages Personal Injury cases on lien. He has experience performing Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs), giving him a comprehensive understanding of Personal Injury reporting standards, documentation requirements, and the clinical and legal nuances that determine what is appropriate and defensible within PI cases.

Dr. Maria Orantes-King is dedicated to the integration of acupuncture and Western medicine, with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care. Her clinical approach blends evidence-informed assessment with Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnostics to help patients reduce pain, improve function, and return to the activities that matter most.
Treatment Philosophy:
Maria’s work is grounded in integrative medicine and continuity of care. During her clinical training, she collaborated directly with multidisciplinary medical teams—including medical doctors, physical therapists, massage therapists, and other integrative providers—supporting coordinated treatment planning and outcomes-focused care.
She also incorporates adjunctive modalities when clinically appropriate, including cupping, electrical stimulation, nutrition and food therapy, and mind-body approaches such as meditation and movement-based practices.

ACUPUNCTURE AND ELECTRO-STIMULATION
